It reminds me of when I was a little kid. I remember riding around in my parents red hatch back in Oregon. My parents didn't always fill their gas tank 'cause it was the 70s and there was gas rationing. So on longer trips, my parents would play a car game with me and tell me to keep my eyes open for the "76-er". You know it, the orange ball. (76 Gas stations had an orange ball resembling a pool ball as the sign.) When I saw one I would get really excited. As a result, I love those balls. Sadly, there aren't many around. Sigh. Just looking at it now, and realising there aren't many left, makes me want to cry.
