Climibing at the Castle
So, I am meant to take an intro class to climbing on Sunday. After that, apparently, I can do some climbing. I really am curious but given I have so little upper body strength, I hope it is not embarassing. Oh, well. I will give it a go!

Breaking up is rad to do.
Hilarious post. It made me giggle. Here is an excert, "Sorry. Breaking up itself is horrible. I mean the time right after a break up, the “they just broke up” phase. This is a magical time in your life when you get to behave however the fuck you want. No matter how erratic, self-involved and unstable you are, people will just nod at you with sympathetic looks and be all like, “She’s on her 15th shot of whiskey but her and so and so just broke it off and they were really close,” or “She’s eaten nothing but peanut butter M&M’s for three weeks, but I totally understand, I’ve been there..."

If that appeals, here is the rest on the Misanthropologist.
Genuinely, genuinely funny.

CANCER
From the Awl, an article which states the top ten best things to say to a cancer patient. It makes a lot of sense but still good to remind yourself.

FM Belfast. Going to see them tonight. Nope, they are not from Belfast but from Iceland. If you make music and you are from Iceland, I might love you.
Not what some would say is the most well written music but this bouncy stuff guarantees a good time.

Here is Par Avion. Other songs include Underwear, Talk like an American, etc.

They will make you swoon when you hear them. Life can be good, and I will be loved.
The Head and the Heart. Such beautiful music!

The Proof of Love is an amazing book. It was written by my good friend, Catherine Hall, but that is not why I love it. I love it because it is a beautifully written book. It transports you to a place visually and emotionally where you can imagine being in the English Lake District in the 70s. A great feat considering I was in the US and barely alive then.

The Proof of Love builds slowly but then sucker punches you at the end. This is perhaps not the review that her publisher will use but it is true. A great read.

And, if my comments still failed to sway you, here is the Guardian newspaper's review.

If I have convinced you, you can buy it here.

Brains!!!
The First Zombie Proof House for Sale. Amazing. I love the beauty of the idea. It is also quite a gorgeous house, but I struggle to imagine how long term, if the Zombies were to attack, you could and would want to survive.
