My friend, Kelly, an amazing photographer is having a fundraiser for herself as she recently broke her camera. Buy a framed and signed print for $50. A bargain as the photos are amazing!!

You cannot win them all. Neither should you expect to, but just feeling a little sorry for myself at the moment. Maybe I should leave the house? I guess it is not good for me to be on my own that long?

Fireplace tiles. It is not the biggest of topics but for me, along with paint colour, it occupies my thoughts endlessly. I am taking the plunge as previously mentioned with D. We have boought some baking dishes which says commitment and now we will move on with the other details.

I am super keen to sort out the fireplace. I have visions of us snuggling on the couch warmed by a gas fire. Sad you say? Well, maybe, but it makes me happy and surely that is the best thing.

So, we need to agree on fireplace tiles which is strangely harder than you would imagine. Many of the traditionally styled tiles have flowers on them. Not bad, but not really keeping in the current decoration of the living room. Guess we will need to keep looking.

Guess life cannot be that bad if this is my biggest dilemma?

"All change please!"
So, I have decided to move in with D. There has been much agonising and debate, and nightmares! But in the end, it was the best decision. And to be honest, once the decision was made and people were told I became really excited. Apart from the packing and physical moving process, I am so thrilled and cannot wait for it to happen.

We have discussed things to do around the house when I move. The back bedroom, for example, that his flatmates are in now will be made over to resemble an office. D requested that we call it "the study". I giggled but honoured his request.

It should be wonderful and I am thrilled.

New job
Well, I have started a new job and while I don't regret the move, I wonder about the new placement. People are a little different to what I am used to and the role itself is a mixture of exhiliarating and terrifying. Guess any good job should be that way?

But we will see. Will I sink or will I swim? Swim, I hope. Oh, let me swim!
