I am in Sri Lanka at the moment. Don't know if you are aware but the SL Government yesterday took Tamils (several hundred) and forced them on buses and drove them into the middle of the country dropping them off. It is unbelievable! They claimed that these people had possible connections to the Tamil Tigers but most of them were women, children and older people. Their selection criteria were unemployed people.
Luckily, it received international attention and the relocations were halted by the Supreme Court but now they are just intimidating people and "encouraging" them to leave. I think the situation is going to get worse before it gets better.
